Part 1 — Website Terms and Conditions
About Us
These Website Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Afrimarkethub.com and any related marketplace features operated by Afrimarkethub Ltd. By accessing or using the website, creating an account, browsing products, communicating through the marketplace or using any related service, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.
Afrimarkethub.com is operated by Afrimarkethub Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17054413, with registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF. You can contact us at support@afrimarkethub.com.
Marketplace Role
Afrimarkethub operates an online marketplace that enables independent vendors to list and sell products to customers. Unless we expressly state otherwise, the contract for the sale of products is between the customer and the relevant vendor. Afrimarkethub provides the marketplace platform and may facilitate listing, ordering, payment support, customer communications and dispute handling.
Accounts and Registration
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You must provide accurate, current and complete information, keep your login details confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may refuse registration, suspend accounts or restrict access where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraud, breach of terms, unlawful activity or risk to the marketplace.
Acceptable Use
- You must not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, misleading or abusive purposes.
- You must not interfere with the security, availability or operation of the website.
- You must not upload viruses, malicious code, unlawful content, counterfeit listings or material that infringes another person's rights.
- You must not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload or misuse the marketplace without permission.
- You must not submit false reviews, impersonate others, manipulate transactions or attempt to bypass our systems.
Intellectual Property
The website, branding, design, text, graphics, software, layout and marketplace content owned or licensed by Afrimarkethub are protected by intellectual property rights. You may use the website for personal or authorised business purposes only. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or exploit any part of the website except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
Third-Party Content and Vendor Listings
Vendors are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of their product listings, images, prices, descriptions, stock information, delivery information and product compliance. We may review, remove, suspend or restrict listings where we believe they breach our terms, policies, legal obligations or marketplace standards.
Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the website available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website for operational, legal, security or business reasons. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, Afrimarkethub is not responsible for losses caused by vendor products, vendor conduct, inaccurate vendor listings, third-party services, website misuse or events outside our reasonable control. For consumers, your statutory rights are not affected.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory legal rights in the country where you live. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
Part 2 — Customer Terms of Sale
Who You Are Buying From
These Customer Terms of Sale apply when customers purchase products through Afrimarkethub.com. They should be read with the Website Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any product-specific information displayed before checkout.
Afrimarkethub is a marketplace. In most cases, products are sold by independent vendors, not by Afrimarkethub directly. The relevant vendor is responsible for the product, product description, legal compliance, fulfilment, delivery, returns and after-sales support, unless we clearly state that Afrimarkethub is the seller.
Product Information
Vendors must provide clear and accurate product descriptions, prices, delivery information and any relevant warnings, restrictions or product requirements. Images are for guidance only and colours, packaging or presentation may vary. Customers should review all product information carefully before placing an order.
Orders and Acceptance
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the selected products from the relevant vendor. An order is accepted when confirmation is issued or the vendor begins fulfilment. We may refuse, cancel or reverse orders where products are unavailable, prices are incorrect, payment fails, fraud is suspected, legal restrictions apply or the order breaches our terms.
Prices, Payment and Charges
Prices should be shown clearly before checkout, including applicable taxes where required. Delivery charges, service charges or other costs will be shown before you place your order where applicable. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not guarantee that all payment methods will be available at all times.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Vendors and delivery partners are responsible for fulfilling delivery in accordance with the information provided at checkout. Customers must provide accurate delivery details and be available to receive orders where required. If delivery is delayed, missing or unsuccessful, please contact support@afrimarkethub.com so the matter can be reviewed with the vendor or delivery partner.
Cancellation Rights
For many online purchases, UK consumers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days after receiving goods. Some products may be excluded or restricted, such as perishable goods, sealed hygiene items that have been unsealed, personalised goods, digital content supplied after consent, or other legally excluded items. Customers must notify us or the vendor clearly if they wish to cancel.
Returns and Refunds
Where a customer validly cancels an order or returns eligible goods, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and the relevant returns process. Customers may be responsible for return costs where legally permitted and where this was made clear before purchase. Refunds may be reduced where goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them. Faulty, damaged, misdescribed or non-compliant goods will be handled in accordance with statutory consumer rights.
Faulty Goods and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Customer Terms affects your statutory rights. Goods supplied to consumers must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described, customers may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and timing of the complaint.
Complaints and Disputes
Customers should contact support@afrimarkethub.com with order issues, complaints or disputes. We may ask the relevant vendor to respond, provide evidence or take corrective action. We may facilitate communication, refunds, returns or account action where appropriate, but this does not make us the seller unless we expressly acted as the seller for that order.
